The project, Zug, Core refurbishment

The residential building at Chamerstrasse 38 sits in the heart of Zug. We stripped it back to its load-bearing structure and reimagined the interior, creating contemporary rental apartments – among them compact 2½-room homes as well as top-floor and attic apartments.

The fit-out relies on a small number of carefully chosen materials. We selected and sourced the travertine for the lift cladding directly in Verona and paired it with oak details. Large expanses of glass bring plenty of daylight inside, and the top-floor apartments are equipped with KNX home automation.

A solar installation on the roof generates electricity for the building. We delivered the project as turnkey contractor in partnership with crowdhouse. Residents have been living here since June 2025.
